Keep talking, someday you'll say something intelligent.

"H.E.L.P me, H.E.L.P you :) "

Kwee dropped over at my place to get his assignment done simply because he needs internet access :S

Kwee busy at his assignment.

Bee busy with Kwee's assignment.

Bee, busy with Kwee's assignment.

Kwee was rather hardworking that day because he wanted to hand in his assignment on the day itself. Bee was the more chillax one as she made her choice to only hand in her work on the following day.

Sigh, today's Wednesday and i'm writing about Monday.

"Everything."

Everything seems drifting away.

Everything seems to need a bigger step.

Everything seems to be smaller.

Everything seems so screwed up.

Or maybe i'm just thinking too much.

- tsencai.

"Abide to these."

"People are illogical, unreasonable and self-centered. Love them anyway."

"If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Do good anyway."

"If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway."

"The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway."

"Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway."

"The biggest persons with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest persons with the smallest minds. Think big anyway."

"People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs. Fight for a few underdogs anyway."

"What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway."

"People really need help, but may attack you if you do help them. Help them anyway."

"Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.."

- The Paradoxical Commandments.

"Sometimes..."

Sometimes... when you have nothing to do - you go watch a movie.

Sometimes... when you have nothing really good to watch, you simply pick a random movie.

Sometimes... that's a plain stupid thing to do.

Recall on last Friday (17/11/2006)-

Especially for our case; Aaron, Kirsty, their two other DU buds and I.

The five of us wanted to catch the 2.30pm show for Death Note. There weren't anymore tickets for that time, so we tried the 3.00pm one - no tickets.

the 5.00pm one? - no tickets.

So we tried our luck for the latest Bond flick - Casino Royale .

As expected, all showtimes in the noon were sold out or if not, the seats suck.

How now brown cows?

We decided to watch raindogs.

What's that?

I don't know. Some chinese flick, i know.

We inquired the guy behind the counter, and yea, he told us it was a cantonese show. We assumed it was some HK movie.

So yea, we bought the tickets.

5 of us, for the 3.15pm show. There were only THREE seats taken in the cinema when we bought it. Now, there's eight.

How come i've never heard of this movie before? If it was a Hk flick i would've heard of it before. Anyway, the first scene into the movie...

We see a one ringgit malaysian note being passed from hand to hand.

A local show! Hmm..i really thought it might be interesting.

But half an hour through the show, i nearly lost my patience.

The show is so annoyingly slow paced and dull. I nearly fell asleep. Camera-work is sluggish, the narrative meanders at a lethargic and sometimes irritating pace, and we have to tolerate a whole lot of irrelevant and pointless sequences, shot ostensibly to beef up the footage.

Like for example, as Aaron quoted, the scene showing some scenery for like what - 10-30 seconds? Totally pointless and boring. The one hour and 45 minutes ordeal felt like a 2 and a half hour one. The whole show was super draggy.

I'd rather watch senseless horror movies anytime.

Hee. Hee. Hee. I come for you.

Surprisingly, we stayed out through the entire show. Oh, wait, we didn't really exactly expected the show to end at that time. Why? Because it wasn't a real ending.

Do you understand what i'm trying to say? You would, if you'd watch it. Which, isn't a very good idea.

The ending works off this way - a scene showing a tree in a village for hmm..about 30 seconds and then the scene takes off to the credits. Uhh...what the hell?

I didn't even know what i was watching. That was one of the many totally irrelevant scenes in the movie. Others include kite-flying, scenes of fireworks and a snake scare in a farm. Intolerable.

6 ringgit malaysian wasted.

Don't buy the same tickets.

After the film ended, we were trying to make out the point of watching the show. Kirsty was somehow fascinated with the movie's theme - Odetta - Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child.

Somtimesss...people make stupid decisions in their life. zZzZz..

At night, i watched Accepted with Bee and her friends. At least it was something to look forward to.

Good S.H.I.T overall. Recommended if you really have nothing to do at the moment. Really.

"Last Too-sday."

Let's have a recap on what happened on last Tuesday (or Toos-day as how jW pronounce it).

Went to pick jW and Kwee up from HELP and went on our way to MidValley. Poor Kwee was late for his 11 o' clock class so he had to take the 4pm one. So that was how we killed some time for Kwee.

Had lunch in Oh Sushi. Decided to order something light since I had a late breakfast . Ended up ordering a serving of ebit tempura. A freaking bad move it was. The weird thing is, they removed the ebi tempura dish from their menu so therefore the price wasn't stated. I always thought japaneses restaurants served that, so i asked the waiter for it. Turned out it was a freakning expensive dish when the bill came.

I was the one who wanted to order something affordable and light, but turned out i was the one who ordered something light but pricey :(

jW and Kwee ordered their full-meal servings and paid much less than i did :( bad bad bad.

Bee soon got bored and had an impulse to play masak-masak with a chunk of wasabi, and some soy sauce.

Wasabi + soy sauce

Bee's masak-masak aftermath

Bee met up w/ MeiYuen after we left Oh Sushi to go kai kai. So it was just Kwee and I.

So what did the both of us do or better, what CAN both of us do? :P HAHA.

Randomly, we headed to MPH to read some books (!). Haha. Suddenly we brought out the intellectual-ness in us :)

Nah, there wasn't any much intellectual-ness in our reading session. We just checked out car mags to more car mags.

We stayed in MPH till somewhere near around 3pm. We got tired of books. What else did we do?

We decided to bowl some balls.

Bowl time!

Half an hour more to kill, so Kwee suggested two rounds of bowling. The last time i went bowling was last year after SAM's mid-term exam, so its been awhile.

Cosmic Bowl

I'm leading!

For the first game, i had the lead and won! But i got trashed on the second game :( Guess Kwee hasn't warmed up yet during the first game.

That's Kwee

This is the second game score -

I got trashed

I completely lost for on the second round! So i got trashed :(

Anyway after our bowling game, i turned driver for Kwee and send him back to his college. Bee continued to stay in MidValley w/ MeiYuen and was meeting up with more friends later.

For me, i was a good boy for that day, so i stayed at home for the rest of the day :)

Well, that's that. Don't have anything else much to write about. Holiday's been a real bore.

"Them Childhood Things."

Everyone knows our favourite childhood play thing - LEGO.

I'm sure most of us knows about our favourite late 90's RTS game - Starcraft.

"Sup Ikan-Yu."

Time really does fly, huh. First thing i know i'm hitting my books bracing myself for the finals, next thing i know now i'm left with nothing to do but rot rot rot :S

It's been only a day (2 days since today is a Sunday) since the end of semester 2 and i'm already running out of things to do :(

Oh well, a recap on last Friday;

In the noon, headed to 1U to catch Step-Up along w/ some old college mates and their coursemates. After that, headed to MidValley to meet up w/ Bee's friends. Headed off for Hartamas at night for some drinks and that was how night ended with :)

Breakers.

jW's and tsencai's.

How's that for a short summary? :)

Anyway, some interesting stuff you might wanna check out;

For the car enthusiasts;

Paultan.org: BMW 7-Series Drift Crash

Crazy people. Next time they're going drifting with a Rolls Royce.

Been to kennysia.com lately? Seems that he has finally picked the 3 finalists for the LG White Chocolate Giveaway Contest. Contestants are suppose to post up real-life crazy stories of desperate people doing crazy things to win a boy/girl's heart. All 3 stories from the 3 finalists have been posted up. I personally liked this one :) ;

Adapted from kennysia.com -

"I'm your typical pathetic loser.

It happened when I was in Form 2. There was this girl that I really liked P. At that point, being young and naive, I thought that love was easy.

I guess she was toying with the fact that i liked her, her friends as well as mine knew about this one way relationship.

Why?

Coz I was sort of like her boyfriend. That's it. She wasn't my girlfriend.

Well, being young and naive, I thought that I had her in the bag. Thoughts or marriage and nonsense. Anyway, she forced me to do things for her. Now thinking back, I was pretty dumb to oblige to everything.
She wanted to eat Ipoh hor fun during reccess one day. When i say Ipoh, I mean Ipoh. I sneaked out of school, took a taxi to Puduraya, got a bus, went to Ipoh, bought the hor fun, came back to KL. By then, it was night already. Called her, she said she didn't want it anymore.

It was a Saturday night, she called me. Said she wants me to go to her house to make a cup of milo for her. So I walked to her house (her house was in the other neighbourhood), ringed the doorbell, guess what? Her dad came out holding a police-like baton threatening to kill me. He didn't believe me when I told him her daughter asked me to come over. He said his daughter would never befriend a guy like me and she was already asleep. Got into a lot of trouble with my parents when I got home.

On Monday, I enquired her about it. She slapped me across the face. During assembly, I was left hurt and ashamed.

From that day 'till today, we have not spoken. I thought obliging to her wishes would make her accept me. Guess not.

So, do you agree that I'm a pathetic loser?

I'm sure you are nodding frantically now."

Story ends here.

Poor guy :(

I told Bee about it, asked her to have a read at it.

And then...

"Our Turn."

Can you taste it?

The aura of freedom and nothingness :)

Today (yesterday) was the last day of my finals. I self-declare myself officially achieving freedom until the next semester. Which raises another thing.

Where will be the next time i'll be studying? :(

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

"Development Hell"

The first video is a in-game of a Starcraft mod for C & C Generals. Instead of the usual US and terrorist and the Chinese, you get to use Starcraft-based factions. Cool huhh.

The second video is what i think it is, the intro movie for Starcraft Ghost. Cool, yes?

Well, its too good to be true :(

"Update."

An update? Here's an update:

At least an update about me.

Everything i do, well - just screws.
