"Collosal Stupidity is Me"

"Collosal Stupidity is Me"

Today, i is can congratulate me self for making most stupid flaw. Something to do with my management assignment.

Alright, this is how it is; at the end of the assignment, i have to have an appendix section - this is where i photostat all pages of the journals that i have referred to for my assignment topic. This is to be shown as proof that i have referred from these journals.

For the first each page of the photostated journal, i have to print out the word "Appendix I/II/III.. etc" on the top right hand corner over it. This means i have to slot the paper into my printer, and print the word over it.

And so..it was time to do those tasks. My printer was capable of printing and photostating :) ahah.. Canon products.

This is what was done in order-

  1. Slotted in the first page of journal article into the photostating cache.
  2. Didn't photostat yet, wanted to print out word "Appendix" on another photostated journal page.
  3. So, slotted in first page of other journal article into printing cache.
  4. I forgot about Step 1, so i pressed the green button to begin photostating.
  5. GG.

This is what happens if i tend to be so absent minded -

In case you still don't know whats that, i photostated a journal over another photostated journal!

Damn.

Collosal stupidity is me.

- take care everyone, and God bless.

"Reach"

"Reach"

Finally. The burden of bus. law assignment is finally gone. That leaves management that's due at the end of the week. Assignments doesn't stop there though...

I haven't been getting enough sleep nowadays. My eyelids seem to be heavier at the last few periods of lecture. Don't really know why. If only lectures would be more interesting..hmm..

Speaking of lectures ..

That would be rather interesting..hehe. The only ppl i can expect doing that might be Joe or Kwee. HAHA! eh..new ideas for ur lectures man. That'd really take guts to do that. haha..and also a sporting lecturer or else = gg.

Anyway update on Monday;

Freaking sui day. Monday was the due date for my business law assignment. All work must be handed up before 2.00pm or else gg. But since i completed my work (that is at least what i thought), i had nothing to worry about. I was totally stress-free. As i was going to class, i saw a coursemate of mine; he was holding a diskette.

"Eh, whats the diskette for?"

"Oh..Mr.Zain (our BL lecturer) says you need a softcopy of your work and hand it in together".

So i thought, nvm-lar. I got my thumbdrive with me, and i can buy a diskette from the college's bookstore. Then i can just make the copy in the com. lab.

I didn't bring my thumbdrive. GG.

Shit man - i gg liaw if i don't do something. I had to go all the way back home to fetch a softcopy of my work, and get the diskette. It was naer 11am that time - my next class starts at 11.30am. Excellent. Perfect timing.

So i went home...came back... I was forced to park at the parking lot that is usually reserved for the Sunway Medical Centre - you see it when u drive along the main road to Sunway College.

The ticket-vending machine as you enter the parking lot wasn't working. There was this guy fixing it, and the barrier was open. Since the machine wasn't working, and can't issue tickets, the fella just ask me to go in - without the ticket.

"Eh, then bagaimana keluar nanti?"

"Lu tengok pondok kecil tu?" - points at the small pondok in the lot.

"lu datang cari saya.saya ada ke situ"

"but..kelas saya end evening saja...lama"

"tak apa..saya masih di sini"

Ok-lorr.. so i just went in w/o the ticket and made the long walk back to college.

I made it into lecture 10minutes late - lucky lecturer was in a good mood, i think.. hmm..

Anyhow, all went well. I manage hand up my law assignment, and it was time to choww..

I got back to the parking lot i mentioned just now. Went there..see the pondok..go there...and ...

nobody.

ARGH! now how am i suppose to get out? I even tried walking back to the entry point of the parking lot just to get the ticket (it needs a car to be present in front of the machine then only it will issue a ticket). NOothing. Didn't work. Damn..i'm gona be stuck here...so sui.

But anyhow, i made it out - only at 7pm - class ended at 5.30pm. Don't think i'll need to elaborate there. hehs...

Overall - not a good day for me.

- what's up with plans - His plans?

Everything, seems to be going wrong..for me. Things, just don't seem to be working out as i hope it would be. Depression really sucks. People tell me that i'm sad cause i choose to be sad. I choose to be happy - but what's there to be happy about? i can't.

- take care everyone.

- God bless.

"Starbucks less Bucks?"

"Starbucks less Bucks?"

Greetings,

Saturday night - finally. I attended this Nite Gig thing at Starbucks @ Taipan. SubangJaya.

It's a charity performance organized by the ICPU people from Taylor's. Several bands came to perform in this charity thing including local band Altered Frequency - click HERE to go to their site.

Anyway, my friend Joe was suppose to perform as well. So, i came with -

Kwee..

Eh..look there la.

Take proper pic mah. Kirsty on the left..and as usual, Kirsty comes in a one-for-the-price-of-two package.

Ini dia Aaron..

This' taken by Kirsty, trying to be vulgar..

- and also many more that i haven't their photos.

Anyhow, we waited for Joe and his band to complete their performance so that we can have dinner at Pizza Uno.

This charity performance by several bands were actually really..just for fun. As quoted Joe, these bands just come up here and play just to 'syok sendiri'. Hehe..and i thought at first it was some competition or something.

The band above played a variation of Creed's "With Arms Wide Open". They're not bad.

There were good ones...and really really noisy ones. I duno la - i can't believe they even called those stuff music. Your typical "rock" band.

Joe's band - lead and accoustics by Joe's coursemantes and Marc on bass.

Overall they were one of the better performers. Instead of the usual loud noisy so-called "rock" music, they played something different. They started off with The Calling's "Wherever You Will Go". After listening to so much loud music, listening to that piece by The Calling was so much soothing to the ears. Finally some actual real music.

After the performance we headed to Pizza Uno for dinner. I even met my aunt and uncle there man -__-". They were having supper while we were having our dinner. Haha..go figure :)

At Pizza Uno - Taipan.

Dinner's over - it's only 10.30pm. Hehs..all agreed to proceed to Asia Kafe.

Remember the performance at Starbucks? Apparently the management there didn't have a proper permit to host a live performance. Somehow, MPSJ got hold of news that a live performance was held there and maybe it made too much noise or something - so..they got there, and sapu-ed everything. GG.

Lucky Joe's band left the scene much earlier. I don't know but the othjer bands, but the rented equipments were all confiscated by the MPSJ. Everybody was kinda sesat - it was quite unexpected. The management sure kena man. GG.

Well, not really any of my business actually. Hehs..maybe a competitor of Starbucks got envious of the crowd its attracting and therefore notified the MPSJ. Then ngam-ngam they didn't have a permit to host live performances in the place. So GG lor.

Anyway..i'm home, tired, and it's time for some shut eye.

Oh btw..

Happy Birthday, Joe Hock - Yes, he is special.

- Joe Hock turns 19 on Sunday, 23rd April 2006. Many wishes and blessings for the special guy who just turned 19.

- take care and God bless, everyone,

"I Say"

"When I Say"

When I say.. "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean living"
I'm whispering "I was lost",
Now I'm found and forgiven.

When I say ... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
And need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm am weak
And need his strength to carry on.

When I say ... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God still believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God’s good grace, somehow.

Thank you, my friends :)

- God bless you all.

Anyway..i manage to dug up more K3 memories. Enjoy :)

I just realize i have tons of photos that i've never seen before. Hehz..

For now take care and God bless everyone.

"Help Me"

"Help Me"

God help me. I'm feeling so down i could kiss the floor - lame phrase. As quoted by some of my friends - He has no doubt have plans for me. No doubt? I really wish. I'm now wishing so badly He really has a plan for me.

The fact that i've been torned, and devastated so badly and so many times till once i was at the verge and very edge of suicide thoughts before this makes me question -

What is He trying to show me?
What needs to be proven?
Does He want me to see something?
What is it?
When will i see it?

I need a prayer.

- take care and God bless everyone.

"Doing Devotions"

"Doing Devotions"

Having mixing w/ a lot of strong christian friends got me thinking..i'm beginning to question my faith in christianity. Am i really a Christian? I mean..honestly.. now come to think of it - am I able to call myself even one?

As i mentioned before - i accepted Christ last year at a church of a friend of mine. I went there with 2 of my close college buddies. Both are Christians - strong ones. Accepting is one thing - but going to church?

Yea - i hardly go to church. No, make that rarely. Oh wait, VERY rarely. Even so i don't really go to church, i do my set of tasks everday that maybe could just - bring me closer to Him. I normally spend some time doing devotions - devoting some time to God.

I didn't realize i was actually doing devotions all these time..until a long conversation w/ a close buddy of mine. We were talking about his problems over the phone - some he had to deal w/ in such a short period of time. I pity the little guy.

Admist talking about his problems, we ended up talking about my own set of problems. He told me to get this book (or read it..i forgot liaw..kinda long time ago) - The Purpose Driven Life.

So i told him i've been reading it since last year..during the mid year. It was gift from a college buddy. No - it wasn't a birthday gift. He was being helpful...I had a lot problems i had to cope up with. All stupid problems...social and parental issues.

It was given to me during college hours. I was instructed to read a chapter a day - which the book consisted of 40 chapters that will enlighten your life..really. It works. This book is dedicated to everybody. You should read it.

So roughly in about a month or so, the book should've been completed. But i'm not done yet! I'm still reading it! I'm reading it for the second time now ..yay yay..gives self a pat on the back...ok that was ....gay.

Anyhow..my spiritual walk doesn't end here. Last year, the same college buddy gave me a Christmas gift.

Haha! A bible. I was totally expecting it from him. It was a gift from him and his girlfriend. I guess there are really people who care for you...awwww ...ehehe ..ok.. that was....gay..HAHA.. anyway..move on.

I do abit of bible reading on my free time. I'm serious. I'm not joking. I read quite little la...cause another rather interesting book caught my attention;

I'm so thankful i ever got this book. Remember the friend i mentioned that brought me to my realisation that i've been doing devotions all this while? Yea, same little fella. It's his book - he had the heart to lend it to me.

By the way i looked at the book, it's aimed rather at youngsters. The book talks about honest, romantic, and a refreshing biblical look at relationships. It inteprets courtships with wisdom. It's all about dating with a purpose (Harris. J 2000, Boy Meets Girl, Multnomah Publishers).

Well, i'm still haven't completed reading this book - only halfway through. Even so, i've already learnt alot from it. It made me taught me how to be patient and understand courtships (kao lui ah) better.

I'd really wish i've gotten this book at a much earlier time of my life. It would save me a lot of heart aches.

To the little friend of mine - Thank you :)

As for going to church - long story....i think i';ve said it before. My mum blasted at me wheni told her i wanna go to my friend's church.

Why? Cause she says why not go to my cousin's church instead of theirs. Alright..at that time i didn't know what to say - because telling her that the company didn't really suit me won't be a very good answer.

I feel more comfortable around my friends - is that a problem?

I'm gonna be more frank in the future.

Take care and God bless, everyone :)

"Kay Tea Edge Are Ee Ee"

"Kay Tea Edge Are Ee Ee"

Greetings everyone.

My semester break is soon to come. Only one more class left. Yup. One more. I just have to attend an hour more of tutorial class and my break begins. It's only a week though.

And believe me, i won't be enjoying much during these holidays.

Anyway, i read Joe's blog lately. It felt so refreshing to see such a post reminding me the time we had last year.

Taylors.

It's only been a year. But it felt as if i've been there for nearly a lifetime. (ok-lah..maybe not a lifetime. Jz felt as if it was a very, very long time.)

The way Joe described me when he first saw me was rather...frank.

ei? was i rather that unfriendly looking? -.-;

Anyhow, that was my first impression in college. Believe me, i'm a changed person at the end of the year. And i'm glad.

I remember the days that we gathered in the library to study before the exams. That didn't work. We all ended up in SilverSurf. Hehs.

I still remember the days during the exam season when i head to the library to study, where John would hitch a ride from me to college, since he lives nearby and he's just too lazy to take the long walk to Taylor's. haha..

I remember the classes at the IT lab. Everybody will be at everywhere (teagames.com, fantasy football...etc) else except what Ms.Sue is wants us to do. hehe..

I remember our AsiaKafe/Silversurf/Warnet/Inferno/pork mee (Joe reminded me)/french toast/$3 shop/Darusallam sessions.

Especially our outings and gatherings. I'd wish for the barbeque party gathering at ChorYeow's place again.

I would like to take this time to thank God for all the many blessings he has bestowed on me, every moment of those days. I'm ever so grateful to have ever made friends with the group of people that we were once strangers, now walked out as friends; as Joe said.

Everyone in K3 has blessed my heart. I'll always remember K3 in my prayers. God bless you all :)

Joe..

Patrick, Kok Pin...

Kwee..
John...
Aaron, Kirsty - the unofficial K3-ian. ahah..*quoted by Joe.

and many more to be included... Ah Fai, and Ying ZHen...

A bond of friendship that will be etched for life. Take care and God bless, everyone.

"Wumped"

"Wumped"

It's been quite a while since my last entry. I haven't the time to do so nowadays. University life isn't as hard as we thought it would be..it's much, much harder. Assignments keep coming in non-stop! By the next 3 weeks, i gotta come up with 4 assignments!

That's like..um..an assignment in less than a week? 5 days an assignment must be completed? Crap-o.

Oh and btw, i had my MIP assignment test today. Hope i did good. So that's MIP and BS tests completed...still the pressure is weighing on me.

But heck, next week's my semester break :) I have a week off. Only applies for Victoria uni. students however. Monash ppl only have their break after the week i'm having my break :(

Bah. Nothing interesting's been up lately. That's why the lack of update -and I don't bring a camera around w/ me, so don't expect pictures everyday unlike some bloggers. If you wanna see photos, you can find lots of em' at friendster.com. Not here.

That's it for now. Nothing much to say anyways..

Although...today i felt like such a wimp.

- take care and God bless, people.

"Unproductivity"

"Unproductivity"

Argh. It's been an unproductive weekend for me so far. I've got a bus.stats test this Monday, and an econs assignment that is due this Tuesday.

It's not really an assignment, more like a test. However, we've given time to prepare our answers for the questions. Therefore, on that day itself, we just write down all our answers on the paper. Hehs..reminds me of last year's accounting paper (computerized and non-computerized accounting - ring any bells, ex-K3-ians? ).

As for unproductivity, i haven't been doing much revision/studying now. I can't go on like this!

Bleh. Anyway..check this out;
