"Unsung"
Something that you won't find in the news:
Enjoy.
There just sometimes in our everyday lives we tend to forget what's going on elsewhere in the world.
Sometimes, we just tend to think selfishly and only for the best of ourselves.
Sometimes, we even forget that there are such brave men and women of the service, whom are just like you and I.
They have family and friends back home who love them very much and are praying for their safe return.
They have chosen the path of service. To serve to protect.
Just a sudden post. Haven't been updating in awhile.
- Take care and God bless, everyone.

"Orientation Bash @ Lagoon"
Greetings reader(s),
It's been awhile since my last entry. Stupid MOB assignment been's keeping me occupied for the while.
Well anyway, it's bout time i put up a proper post.
Victoria University - Orientation Bash 2006 at Sunway Lagoon -Saturday, 18th March
Yep. My uni had the orientation bash at Sunway Lagoon. I must've admit, a job well done for the committee to gather 180+ students to attend the event. I was actually kinda surprised by the outcome of the students.
We were told to gather at Sunway Pyramid at 9am on that Saturday. From there, we headed to Lagoon by foot.
We entered Lagoon through the 3rd floor of Pyramid at the parking lot area.
After the entrance..
Lagoon..
Been awhile since i last came here..
Now i remember. The last time i came here was, when i was 5 years old? Damn that's been awhile since i last came here. All this while i've nvr thought of or even bother coming here. Hmm..oh well.
I remember this long bridge though.
That's me in white w/ the bag.
Victoria University 2006 of Sunway.
These are the people whom i normally hang out with minus the guy w/ the "peace" sign. haha..
The committee had organised several ice-breaking games for everyone. One of my favourites is this:
Everyone gets together in one big circle - that means we all sit in one big circle. Uh-huh.
It's rather simple. Starting from a randomly selected person, the game begins when that person says one, the next two, the next three and it goes on and on....
However, a special random number is picked. For this case, i pick the number 7.
Since the number 7 is the special number, whenever it comes to a turn where the person has to say seven, he or she cannot say that! Instead, he/she must clap his/her hands. If he/she does, he/she will be punished.
Simple? Nope.
For this case, since the number 7 is chosen, the number 7 or basically anything that has to do w/ 7 cannot be mentioned (this includes factors, or any number that has the number 7 in it. e.g 7, 14, 17, 21, 27, 28). As said, if any of those numbers are mentioned, he/she will face the consequences.
There are more games than just the one i mentioned, but right now i'm rather lazy to list them all down.
At 1pm or so, the orientation bash was officially over. We were now free and easy.
Headed to the wet park along w/ my group of friends. Bah..don't think i need to elaborate here. There ain't really much in lagoon anyway. Haha..but still, we had fun.
Last group photo taken of the day. It was around 4pm that time. I was sure that we were the last of the VU ppl to be still there.
-God bless and take care everyone,

"VU Site"
Greetings reader(s),
I've been given the honour to uphold the responsibility of making sure i bring up the VU site online. Haihs..as usual, i ran into a few problems.
I feel the tension piling up. The pressure flowing in. I have assignments flowing in fast. I just got my business statistics assignment today, and believe me, it ain't gonna be a very fun thing o_O
Getting site up, management assignment due next week on Friday, business stats assignment briefing, microeconomics assignment on week 6...and soon to find out about business law's assignment.
Aye..i'm feeling stressed at the moment. University life definitely isn't sugar..but its spice. And definitely everything not nice (haha i got this from Patrick's blog i think).
Well, i'm waiting for Vic to come online to send me the site materials so i can attempt to patch things up. Oh, and my VU orientation bash at Sunway Lagoon is tomorrow :)
Wish me luck.

"When all things Fail"
I got this off Poon's blog and i took it straight to the heart. Enjoy.
when all things fail ...
The best gift anyone can give me this new year is a planner.
I like planners because I am a planner.
I like thinking ahead.
I like being prepared.
I get a high from being on top of things.
But some things are beyond planning.
And life doesn't always turn out as planned.
You don't plan for a broken heart.
You don't plan for a failed business venture.
You don't plan for an adulterous husband.
Or a wife who wants you out of her life.
You don't plan for an autistic child.
You don't plan for spinsterhood.
You don't plan for a lump in your breast.
You plan to be young forever.
You plan to climb the corporate ladder.
You plan to be rich and powerful.
You plan to be acclaimed and successful.
You plan to conquer the universe.
You plan to fall in love - and be loved forever.
You don't plan to be sad.
You don't plan to be hurt.
You don't plan to be broke.
You don't plan to be betrayed.
You don't plan to be alone in this world.
You plan to be happy.
You don't plan to be shattered.
Sometimes if you work hard enough, you can get what you want.
But most times, what you want and what you get are two different things.
We, mortals, plan.
But so does God in the heavens.
Sometimes, it is difficult to understand God's plans especially when His plans are not in consonance with ours.
Often, when God sends us crisis, we turn to Him in anger.
True, we cannot choose the cross that God wishes us to carry, but we can carry that cross with courage knowing that God will never abandon us nor send something we cannot cope with.
Sometimes, God breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes, He breaks our heart to make us whole.
Sometimes, God sends us pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes, God sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes God sends us illness so we can take better care of ourselves.
Sometimes, God takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything He gave us.
Make plans but understand that we live by God's grace.

" ( | V | ) "
Greetings reader(s),
I'm finally back from my 3 days-2 nights stay at my cousin's place back at Kedah.
Reason: My late grandma's departure anniversary.
Anyways, i'm not gonna write bout that. Don't think anyone wants to hear anything bout sad-sad stuff, aight? :)
Cars, anyone? :)
Yep. It's finally here. The new Honda Civic 2006 sedan. There was a Honda showroom nearby my cousin's place, so what-the-heck, let's make the best out of our stay in Kedah :)
So we paid a little visit to the showroom...
The interior is just awesome man. I think alot of people are gonna get this car just because of the interior. It's really modern and cool on the inside :) Gotta love the digital meters.
Well that's that. Expect to see many of these around the streets on the next month. Newspaper's mentioned bout 2000 of these models being fully booked...and Malacca's factory can only produce up to 1000 of these per month..that means if you book now, you'll be on a 2-month waiting list :)
What're you waiting for? Go to your nearest Honda showroom!

"I'm so stewpid"
Greetings reader(s),
I'm so damn stupid. I can't believe it. I thought i'd be able to have a good, fresh start for uni.
I took my Mircoeconomics Principle online test at the Sunway Blackboard site just recently, and my results are just utterly degrading.
There are 12 questions in total, which i have to answer all of them in under 10 minutes or so. I only got 9 out of 12 right. While everybody got a score of 12 out of 12 or just a single mistake, i got 3 mistakes!
This is only test 1! And i did so badly. Is it me, or am i really academicallly challenged. This is so degrading. Even as i try to do my best, i still fall behind.
When it rain, it pours. Feeling down, and somewhat abit stupid, i got a sms from Adrian, my coursemate:
"Hey..U guys are from workshop 2 for bl issit? Got ws now le..."
CRAP! I thought the workshop only starts on week 3! (Now is week 2). Oh my God, i just missed my workshop and the lecturer's been taking attendance lately.
Now, i missed a class...and i screwed up a small online test. Oh, and yes, the online test is included in our assessment as well (i think).
Why me? Why am i always lacking behind?

"My Top"
Greetings reader(s),
Today i got the worst hair cut in my entire life; well, ok..not entire life la..maybe for this yeaR! That i'm very sure of! My hair has been cut very unprofessionally.
Why?
Because of obvious reasons; my sideburns are of different length and thickness! To make matters worse, the lousy hair-cut makes my hair looks like some coconut shell! Shit la. Today ain't my day. I think i have to buy a cap o_O
Thanks to that place, i've got now a fugly hairstyle to don with. So much for walking with confidence.

"Faces of MG"
Greetings reader(s),
Some of you readers might've took notice about this MG blogspot in my link section. And if you've been there, you'll also wonder what are all these utter nonsense they talk about and what's with the "GG!" and the profanity in such a blog.
So if you've ever happen to go pass the MG blog and wonder who are these group of bloggers that manage the site, don't fret. I've taken some candid shots of some of MG without their slightest knowledge with many thanks to my cunning and stealthily photography skills :)
If you're familiar with MG blog, this might not be the first time seeing some of these photos. I'll start the photos off in a chronological order.
Enjoy :)
This is Sheng. Known as AABRAAKAAAAA as MG blogger.
That is Nickson in the background. Known as BooooN in MG blog.
From left to right: Sean, WheiJin and Sheng. Sean is not an MG blogger..but is a MG. He however is one with the blogger group 7LegendsOfS8 . WheiJin is known as tikus in the MG blog.
This is Sean...A.K.A 2Extreme in the world of DotA or in BlueServer.
And he's very expressive with his words...
Those photos were taken using my handphone and the location: Asia Kafe, Subang Jaya. Next batch!
A year has passed...
Scene: Sunway University College, Inspiration Square. This is HonHoe, also known as just Cheah. He is HH of GG in the MG blog.
Scene: Sunway University College, Student Centre. This is WheiJin A.K.A tikus as i mentioned earlier.
This is ShengJoule, but he's not a blogger...at all.
and finally... what people wondered most about who is this Mango who happens to be a friend of mine and why do we call him something that's named after a fruit...
This is MingWei but we all know him best as MangO! Everybody, this is Mango. Your curiosity has been satisfied :)
That's that reader(s). I'm going to get some shut eye.
